Gary started writing poetry at the age of 13 and has been writing ever since then. He truly believes that writing and sharing his poetry is the vision and God-given calling for his life. In addition to writing poetry, for 15 years, he touched lives working in healthcare as an Occupational Therapist, and for the past 14 years to present, he has devoted his life to being a Recruiter in various types of professional Industries.
Gary lives in Galloway, Ohio with his wife, Rosey, of 31 years, and together they share two children Ashley, age 26, and Josh, age 22. They also have a dog, Sunnie. Gary can be reached at garywoodson71@yahoo.com

There is no box that I fit in,
I cannot be contained.
There's more to me than meets the eye,
as I forever change.
There is no profile that I fit,
no label that I wear.
Don't look for me to just blend in,
You will not find me there.
I must be free, I must express,
who it is that I am.
